Here is the ADEEN NYC vs. GL NYC (Gabriel Liberty NYC) collaboration look book in Hi Res!
Just to give you guys a little bit of background on the collaboration and how it went down, heres a little story of how we linked up! I’ve (I as in Remy) known Gabriel’s partner in the brand since I was 2 years old and we’ve been as close as family basically our whole lives. They invited me to come have meeting about their brand and just ask for advice starting everything up and brain storm ideas together. So as the meeting continued on, I decided just to ask if they wanted to collaborate, and we did, simple as that! I had designed a few different styles of hats in my mind for quite sometime now, so I figured this was a perfect opportunity to get these ideas out into the world. I took some of the classic ADEEN plus snapback styles and applied them to their signature wide brim Liberty style felt hat. I wanted to create something fun and daring while keeping the Gabriel Liberty classic and minimalistic approach to style. I wanted to add a pop of color to the hats while giving an extra flare to the hats that I’d never seen done before. Besides the obvious use of previous styles I kept certain inspirations in mind. Some touches of Soul Eater and characters from Darkstalkers as well such as Pyron. I hope you guys have a better insight to how these were made, and conceptualized!
